Tina Jezuit was diagnosed with bone cancer at the age of 11 in 1988. The following years would bring 14 months of chemotherapy and 5 surgeries which brought on later effects including heart failure and a massive stroke. Tina and her sister Jillian knew how fortunate the outcome of their journey was and they wanted to give back to the very same community that stood behind them - Their village.
During her time at Hershey Medical Center Tina became friends with Jenny, who received chemotherapy simultaneously with her. Due to circumstances beyond anyone's control 4 year old Jenny was often dropped off for 5 day hospital admissions. During this time her and Tina became close friends.
When nurses filled Jenny's closet with frilly dresses, toys, and favorite snacks Jenny was overjoyed, but this sadly in hindsight meant that Jenny was losing her battle and gaining her angel wings.
Several years ago, Tina contacted Jenny's mother to memorialize her friend and Mrs. Crawford happily gave full permission to use Jenny's likeness for this cause.
We are very grateful to have such a wonderful village supporting Jenny's Kloset. Thank you for your donation and for your support of a wonderful cause and community. Your donation will be used to further the mission of Jenny's Kloset.
